Top of the world!
On Sunday October 22, I climbed all 1,776 steps of the CN Tower - the world's tallest building - as part of a fund raiser for the United Way. My total time was 24 minutes and 45 seconds.
For three consecutive years, I have participated in the climb. The experience is both uplifting and humbling. Uplifting because it feels you with energy and an overwhelming sense of accomplishment, and humbling, not only because you realize how small we are as individuals, but also because every step you take is one step that helps someone in need through the many United Way agencies.
